Quiltworx Fire Island Hosta-Queen
Quiltworx designed the instructions and foundation papers for the Fire Island Hosta Queen quilt. This stunning design utilizes foundation paper piecing to assemble the units needed to create the quilt. Once the foundation piecing is complete, traditional piecing and curved piecing techniques are used to join the units together, resulting in a beautiful, intricate quilt. The color layout for this quilt, featured on the cover, was created using Quiltster, a subscription-based application for fabric and block auditioning, which includes many Quiltworx patterns.
