We’re looking for a detail-oriented and motivated HR Assistant to join our growing team and support our mission of creating an outstanding workplace and customer experience.
About the Role
As an HR Assistant, you’ll play an essential role in supporting the daily operations of our Human Resources department. You’ll help keep our processes running smoothly, maintain accurate records, and provide excellent support to employees across the company.
This role is perfect for someone with experience in HR who loves working in a fast-paced environment, values confidentiality, and takes pride in being organized and proactive.
What You’ll Do
Support recruitment activities, including posting job openings, reviewing resumes, scheduling interviews, and assisting with onboarding new employees.
Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
Assist with payroll processing by keeping employee data current and resolving payroll-related questions.
Help administer employee benefits, including enrollments, changes, and responding to employee inquiries.
Organize and coordinate employee training sessions, and maintain training documentation.
Contribute to employee engagement efforts, including company events, recognition programs, and activities that foster a positive culture.
Monitor compliance with labor laws and company policies.
Serve as a resource for employees regarding HR-related questions, escalating issues to the HR Manager when necessary.
Provide administrative support to the HR department, including preparing reports, documents, and presentations.
What You’ll Bring
At least 2 years of experience in an HR-related role.
Some college coursework in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (an Associate’s degree or higher preferred).
Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with HRIS systems.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and integrity.
A positive, collaborative attitude and the ability to work independently.
Knowledge of federal and state labor laws is a plus.
